Dr. Miller has been associated with the college since 1950, when he taught education, science, and was the basketball coach. In 1969, he became the Academic Dean, and later, the Vice-President. He is a father to three children, enjoys photography and hiking, and has traveled extensively throughout Europe and America. He now attends, and is the chairman, at Glennon Heights Mennonite Church. Dr. Miller received his B.A. in Math and Science at Goshen College. He has an M.Ed. from the University of Colorado and an Ed.D. from the University of Denver. He is noted for his work., achievements and improvements which he has helped make at many of the educational institutions across this nation. He was also a consultant to the minister of Education and an education officer for the Tanzanian government in Africa. His work in Africa has caused some of the primary changes in their educational system today. As Vice-President of Flockmont College, Dr. Miller is in charge of getting the college accredited with North Central Association. This involves analyzing and improving administration, faculty, curriculum, salaries, and facilities. This also means a change in planning, student programs, and the educational experiences found within the college. Dr. Miller has been responsible for motivating the staff and keeping the college on schedule for accreditation in 1980. We salute Dr. Miller! The Senior Class
