Faculty participated in breaking a pinata and stu- dents searched for a yule log. Foreign students shared some of the seasonal traditions in their country with the school body. Celebration The Sno Banquet was held January 25 at the Hilander Inn. The speaker, Gene Sealander, gave a delightful speech. The theme for this year's banquet was SPIRIT OF 76 . 'fs 1 The 46 passenger bus was loaded with 45 passengers. It was visited by Corrie ten Meyers and , just over the Canadian border, survived a taco revolution in which protesters demanded a visit to Taco Bell. An organi- zation, formally called the Goochie Committee, terrorized every ticklish person aboard and was ter- rorized in return by its counterpart, the Tickler's Guild. The only casualty reported was a pushed-out bus window resulting when a member of the Tickler's Guild was used as a battering-ram. The Choir toured the western corner of the United States and British Columbia during spring vacation. They visited the Space Needle in Seattle, Stanley Park in Vancouver, rode the ferry to Vancouver Island, and saw the Mormon Tabernacle in Salt Lake City. The weather was cool and damp and long hours were spent on the bus, but the blessings received were far greater than the trials endured . im h.. 5:,,vZwB-ff 'u of-1 'jfaffflr .413 ' 4-4-0 'T',i.1w ' :i,'..'::t,tl,,.
