From the first disastrous game UQ, 20-O against Denver University, the soccer team began to improve until the fifth game when the offense exploded against Metro, only to lose 11-1, a real heartbreaker. The defense began to tighten up to a peak against Baptist Bible College, only to drop another one 2-O fbum voyage, to be surej. As the season wore on, the team began to get it together for the final game against a tough Wyoming unit, when they took control only to be nipped 4-3, a real triumph in defeat. The season was just a warm-up for the basketball and spring soccer season, whe the rowdy Rockets will show NO MERCY. I4 FROM WH L4
