Initi- ation Week ended with a party during which the freshmen got a taste of car- meled onions, raw eggs, ana a cool dip in the lake. After a fantastic meal, the entertainers took us Stomp- ing Through the Tulips to Alice's Restaurant . World- traveller, Jeff Royall, highlighted the evening with tales of his travels. Coach Finch spent many hours with the team both in prac- tice 8 actual play. The team had a great season, despite injuries, mud, snow, G cold. The Rocky Mountain Inter- collegiate Soccer League named senior, Norm Lock- yer, to their second team with players from the Univ. of Colo., Denver Univ. , Colo. State Univ. , Univ. of Wyoming, Air Force Academy, Regis College, 8 Colo. Alpine College. Eric Dahlberg, a sopho- more, was givenhonorable mention by the League. Anticipation, frustration, hardwork, and long hours of practice all go to describe the efforts of the team. Whether on the bench, part of the action, or in the stands, all feel the excitement of the game. Steve Obrecht, sophomore, pumped in 43 points in one game to break the previous rec- ord of 39.
