A history of this fifty years is carried throughout the yearbook. The members of the Signet Staff have chosen to dedicate this fiftieth- anniversary annual to the man that was instrumental in bringing about Denver Bible Institute, which later became Rockmont College. Because he had a passion for souls and a vision, Dr. Clifton L. Fowler saw the need for training Christian Workers. Dear Students, For fifty years our school has been educating young men and Women like your- selves to share the good news around the world. Amazing things have taken place these last fifty years: the space age, the knowl- edge explosion, the spread of communism, mass communication, the dou-bling of the' world's population, and many others. During the next half century we can be sure there Will be even greater changes, demanding an even more exacting preparation. We can be sure there will be W8I'S, famines, and earthquakes. But if our Lord tarries, there shall also be space travel, the accumulation of more knowledge, and, perhaps, emigration to- other planets. Through it all our responsibility remains the same.
