Col rado 80226 Lakewood 'USM Dedicafiau The Signet staff has chosen Christian Growth as the theme of the 1964 annual. As students of Rockmont College, we know how vital this growth is to our lives as Christians. It is our prayer that this annual may challengelall of us to greater Christian growth. The members of the Signet staff have chosen to dedicate this annual to a man who has served the school well in the past eight years as its president. Mr. Yetter is a man who, we believe, inspirationally exemplifies our theme - Christian Growth. All the students of Rockmont know that the life of Mr, Yetter is focused upon Christ. Mr. Yetter, we gratefully dedicate to you this annual of 1964 as you are, through Christ, a pattern of Khrisfian Growth to all of us. President The Word of God is replete with ex- horrations to grow. But to the natural world we may turn for illustrations of growth. The tiny redwood seed, for example, though only one sixteenth of an inch in diameter, may produce a tree over three hundred feet tall. The Christian's growth too may start small. But God has placed no ceiling on our spiritual growth. We are reminded of Enoch who walked with God and he was not. Each living thing grows from one cell. So, as the cell develops, multiplies and divides, there is formed a specific structure. In the human body it may be a muscle or skin, And so the Chris- tian, as a tiny cell, is to grow, multiply, divide and finally produce a specific living structure. Paul compared this structure to the Church, He said too that we are to grow unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ. Growth is implicit in all living things. To cease to grow is to begin to die. Our experience at Rockmont must be, therefore, an experience of growth. ' SB , , Heard zff Crusfws MR. PHIL BALLARD Longmont, Colorado MR. A. R. Having accomplished this, the Word becomes as milk for the babe in Christ, then meat as he becomes more mature so that he may grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ, At Rockmont College we encourage our students to feed upon the Word of God so that they may grow in their likeness to Christ. Furthermore, it is our prayer that our graduates may go into all the world with the life-giving, growth-producing Word of God, Autographs orial Hall nMem ' CD cn 'U rd 2 An Invitation to Consider Denver For your graduate training for Christian service, we invite you to give serious thought to the Conserva- tive Baptist Theological Seminary of Denver. Now in its thirteenth year, this growing school offers such advantages as a low faculty-student ratio, an expand- ing library, and a trained faculty. Recent evidence of the Seminary's steady advance is apparent in two areas: acceptance into Associate Membership in the American Association of Theologi- cal Schools, and the purchase of a 31-apartment mar- ried students' residence. Continue your training in a school which empha- sizes Biblical studies, missions, and Baptist distinc- tives. CONSERVATIVE BAPTIST THECLOGICAL SEMINARY 1500 East Tenth Avenue .
