But more than the task of transmitting factual Bible knowl- edge concerns the faculty at Rockmont Each teacher is also vitally concerned that each student gain a vision from the Word of God, grow more mature in his Lord, and develop into an in- dependent Bible student. Knowing about the world around him is the responsibility of every sincere Christian student. Science survey courses, geology, and astronomy, help the student to discover in a newer and a deeper way the hand of God, the Creator, in the physical world history and sociology courses help the student to discover more clearly how God has worked through men. Courses in these areas offered at Rockmont give to the student a broad and comprehensive View of himself, his world, and his universe. Meets Caddy? Needs Because the Christian deals so exten- sively with people, the communica- tion arts of writing and speech are a major part of the student's education at Rockmont. The six hours of speech required on a student's record for graduation furnishes each student with basic skills of speaking and communi- cating. E trim P, L TLT, iii 3, 5523 'HL 17 ' C O O O
