M- Mus ROBERT MATTHEWS Electronics, Flight Mr. Robert Matthews graduated from Moody Bible Institute in 1961 with a major in Missionary Aviation. He holds a commercial pilot's license, an airframe and power- plant license, and a first-class radio-telephone license. Bob Matthews joined the Rockmont faculty in the fall of 1962 as an assistant to Mr. Hugh Chance in the flight program, and to Mr. John Roscoe in the electronics program. JOHN T. ROSCOE, B.E. Electronics Mr. Roscoe joined the Rockmont faculty in 1961, founding and directing the school's growing program in electronics, GAYLORD TAYLOR, A.B. , M.MUS. Music, Speech, Art Mr. Gaylord Taylor received his A. B. from Rockmont College in 1952 and his Master's degree in Music at Northwestern University in 1954, Concurrent with his teaching at Rockmont, he is doing work toward the doctorate degree in Music Educa- tion at Colorado State College in Greeley. Mr. Taylor joined the Rockmont faculty in 1954. MR. ARCHIE YETTER, A.B. Bible, Philosophy I As well as serving Rockmont College in an administrative capacity, Mr. Yetter carries on a teaching ministry in the Bible and Philosophy departments of the college. FLORENCE JONES, B.A. Organ and Piano Mrs. Florence Jones graduated from the Denver Bible Institute in 1927 and from Denver University in 1952 with a Bachelor of Music, at which time she was also the recipient ofa national award for composition presented by the League of American Penwomen. Mrs, Jones has done graduate work at the University, and holds member- ship in the National Guild of Piano Teachers. She has taught at Rockmont College as instructor in piano and organ since 1947. JESSE R. JONES, B. A. Music and Bible Mr, Jesse R. Jones graduated from Denver Bible Institute in 1923, and headed the DBI Music Department from 1923 to 1938. He has served various pastorates between 1938-1948, as well as traveling with Carl Harwood, evangelist. He joined the faculty of Rockmont College in 1947, and received his B. A. from Rockmont in 1959. Mr. Jones teaches in the Music and the Bible departments at Rockmont, as well as directing the Christian Service Program. DONALD W. KOPECKY, B.A. , Th. M. Bible, Greek, Hebrew Mr. Donald W. Kopecky has been teaching at Rockmont since 1954. Besides holding an administrative position with Rockmont, Mr. Kopecky teaches Greek, Hebrew, and various Bible courses, He received his Th. These tasks demand patience, gracious- ness, a sense of humor, and most of all, a conviction that the worker is accomplishing a vital ministry for the Lord Jesus Christ, The people who form the staff at Rockmont College need take no back seat to anyone else in fulfilling the demands of their tasks.
