And here within this world of ball games and six weeks tests-of class plays and French vocabulary-of dictionaries and typewriters, we've lived and grown for four long years. Against a backdrop of squabbles and friendships, of laugh- ter and of tears, our minds, bodies, and ideals have matured from day to day as swiftly as the seasons have passed. From spit balls to college entrance applications, from bub- ble gum to engagement rings-this is how we grew. WEL.. ADMINISTRATION MR. J. E. HUNEYCUTT MISS KATE FINLEY Sllfld-'l'IHll'IIllPlll Principal jk? from frustrated Freshmen to sober Seniors. Their courage, their vision, and their planning have made a finer and more progressive school for us to enjoy. Though We may have tempted them at times, they stuck by us through thick and thin. Now as We look back over their four years of guidance, We thank them for their patience and Wisdom. 6 SCHOOL BOARD MEMBERS, lvl! lo right: Mr. I.. I . AFTER GRADUATION? 76 CLASS SONG Now we lc-.ive the circle, the classrooms and the halls, But our laughter still will echo in our Alma Mater's walls. Yes, the walls will echo with our laughter and our tears As with calmness and with quiet faith we face the future years. We leave the school we love today for a world that's wide and cold. We've children been but now are men and face tomorrow's goals. With confidence and courage we shall face it and be gladf Be glad, for the best will come to us, for we gave the best we had. Arise, arise, stand firm and free: today we're going outg And our souls must brave and humble be, and our hearts, they must be stout l or the world awaits us, each woman and each man, As we face the future singing, We can if we think we can l' Chorus: Face the future, face it bravelyg Always do you' best. Faithful through our daily trials, We shall win success.
