Senior Dinner Dance Despite the threat of tornados and a long, uninterrupted thunderstorm, the 1966 Senior Dinner Dance was a successful evening. About forty seniors and their dates enjoyed the comfortable atmosphere of the Mirror Lake Country Club in North Kansas City. The drearlness of a typical Midwestern spring evening was offset by the unusually delicious food and liquor. The seniors and the faculty mixed formality with the informal friendliness that has characterized the atmosphere that is Rockhurst. To the rhythmic sounds of Bob Simes and his guitar, the 1966 dinner dance gradually drifted into the past and became a memorable climax to four years at Rockhurst Kiollege,
