Although far away from the lands we love, we are happy to study here, for it is with admirable kindness, and without any regard to our social origin or material wealth that you have opened to us the gates of this institution and of our new life. Be-fore entering this powerful country, we had heard of your dams and of your oil fields, we had heard of your cars and of your machines.
