Plagued by a lack of height, the team managed to Win five games while dropping thirteen, nevertheless cap- ' turing third place in the Cornbowl Conference. Hampered by the injury of starting forward, Carma Kock, during the first game, the team suffered four straigh losses. They gained valuable game experience in their second game by playing state-tournament team, Parkers- burg. The team was fired for a victory as they met Nora Springs on the Eagles own court. Each girl played her best to top their rivals 71-67. The Warriorettes ended the season in a 56-60 heartbreaker in sectional play against Alden.
