Learning the importance of good English in everyday use is the primary goal of this department. In sophomore English the importance of reading good books was continually stressed throughout the entire course. The elements that make a good term paper, and the criti- cal analysis of a novel was the main purpose of Junior English. The importance of communications was learned in Comm. Skills by applying the techniques of reading, writing, speaking, lis- tening, and observing. Due to the hard-working teachers we are successfully prepared for what the future holds.
