DEDICATION We dedicate this volume of the Rocket to Elsie Molter Keopple, who resigned her teaching duties on January 25 , 1957 and succumbed on February 8,1957-Mrs. Keopple, a graduate of Miami University, taught in the Rockford Schools from 1920-1923 and from 1936 to 1957 She taught social scie nces, American literature, world history, English and bookkeeping, and was advisor of the Hi-Life and Y-Teens. Her vast knowledge and training along with her winning personality created for her many lasting friendships among her students and won her the distinguished honor of very often being the Favorite teacher or being the teacher of the favorite subject when students were asked to list either. In memory of Mrs. Keopole, we dedicate this yearbook that it may in this small way pay a lasting tribute to her and the life she lived.
