DEDICATION Although this yearbook is not elaborate, we have endeavored to make it a suitable record of the school year 194C-M7. Due tc the late date at which the book was started end the decision that : advertising woulc be solicited, the quantity of pages in the yearbook was United in accordance with the receipts from subscriptions. John Wendel acted with the yearbook adviser In helping to see that the material was handed in on time and in managing tho sale of subscriptions. Other- Seniors helped in various ways in writing the material and selling subscriptions. Many lower classmen also aided in writing for the annual• We, the class of 1947, dedicate this annual to Mrs. Whitley, our class sponsor, and to Mr. Bricker, the adviser cf our annual, for their kindness and helpfulness to us as a class. BOARD OF EDUCATION The senior class wishes to thank the members of the Beard of Education for the time they have devoted and the sacrifices they have made to make Rockford a better school. We realize that these men receive little praise for the work they are doing. We do want them to know that we appreciate all they have done in making our twelve years in school worthwhile.
