Our class officers were: President................ ... ....... ...Bill Robbins Secretary and Treasure........................Bernadine Nuding Our-first social function was the Eighth and Ninth grade skating party. Then we elected Donna Rickard as our Home Coming Queen Attendant. In 1942 we started our second year, hoping to do better than last year, under the guidance of Mr. Shank. Our class officers were: President................ ...... ...........Max Stover Vice President........... ....Lloyd Bollenbacher Secretary and Treasure.......................Evelyn Springer Our social event for that year was the Freshman:Sophomore party. We started our third year with a sad drop in attendence, but a new desire to go ahead. Our advisor was Mr. Hoover. Our class officers were: President......................... .........Charles Dudgeon Vice President........... ...Chester Stover Secretary and Treasure.......................Margaret Gilson We elected Evelyn Springer as our Home Coming Queen Attendant. Our big social events this year were the Junior Play, nHe Cou1dn't Take It,N and the Junior and Senior Reception which was held at Van Wert. We regret to say, that one of our class, Robert Waldo, was killed in the summer of 1944 in a motorcycle accident. In September 1944, thirty-two Ueager to succeedn seniors started out to make this our most memorable year, under the guidance of Mrs. Whitley. Our class officers were: President.............. ....Evelyn Springer Vi P id t ce res en .......... .............Max Stover Secretary and Treasure......................Margaret Gilson Some of our outstanding events this year were: Home Coming game, with Betty Rowland as queen and Evelyn Springer as her Senior Attendant, getting our class rings in November, the Junior-Senior Soc Dance. We are now looking forward to the Senior Play and the Junior-Senior Reception, and last but not least, the Baccalaureate and Commencement. We are sorry to say that many of our boys will be wearing the uniform of Uncle Sam, but the class wishes them luck.
