Mrs Benham Checks on Attendance. The Bookstore Sells What We Need. When we arrive at school each morning, these are the scenes that meet our eyes. Usually we don't even give them a second glance, for they have become a part of our routine, yet, when we need supplies or assistance, these places become very im- portant. ' We usually refer to our school as just school, but when it gomes right down to it, we're really proud of our school. The fine reputation it has built up in the academic field and in the fields of music and sports is something we can not overlook. When we speak of Rockford High to students from other schools, we know that Rockford is Cl school of which we can truly be proud. wmJmsmsn

To the custodians of Rockford High, Mr. Hall, Mr. DeCator, Mr. Elkins, and Mr. Johnson, because you are friendly, patient, and helpful, we wish to dedicate the 1959 RAM'S TALE. Because you wait for us when we're slightly late, because you contend with our noise and cheering on the way home from the games, because you clean up after us, because you're always willing to lend a hand in anything from a window that won't open to a door that's locked, because you have our interests and welfare at heart and are dedicated to keeping us comfortable and in pleasant surroundings.
