MAJORETTES B. Hunt, M.. Foster, A.. Burrows, P. Peterson We think our band has done a very fine iob this year. Our new director, Mr. Richard Wenzel, has been an inspira- 'tion to all of us. We played for all of the home football games and marched in the Santa Claus parade. We helped to present something new this year, a combined choir and band Lenten concert. We also put on our usual spring concert. This year the band went to two other schools and enter- tained the students with exchange assemblies. We participated in the district festival, as well as the Grand Valley Band Festival. We've had a busy year and have had fun, too.

Under the expert direction of Mr. Eldon Balko, it attained new heights. The choir presented a Christmas con- cert, sang in the Messiah performance, and sang over the radio. It also presented a spring concert and a combined Lenten concert with the band. We took part in the Grand Valley Choir Festival and went on our usual tour to other schools in the spring. This year has been another outstanding one for our choir.
