Mrs. Myrna Harger is kept busy with all of the library work outside the library as well as inside. Throughout the year she visits many English classes and explains the system of our library to the students. It is very helpful to be able to find any in- formation that you may want especially when the classes are writing term papers. 'nl ,.J'fl,f'i -fig .ff '1 Q05 ' ,fcctf ft eccbjsxfsf Mr. David Thompson came to Rockford High at the beginning of the second semes- ter and took over Mrs. Brown's classes. He taught Latin I and tenth grade English, everything from Latin coniugations to auto- biographies. Mrs. Lucille Young is teaching in one of her two bookkeeping classes. Along with the regular classroom studies, there are many outside proiects which her students must complete. This class has prepared many students for future work in business ofifices. Mr. Fred Schultz is in one of his several art classes. It is here that his students learn the fundamentals of drawing. They begin with elementary paintings and eventually work up to some of the most difficult.

MAJORETTES B. Hunt, M.. Foster, A.. Burrows, P. Peterson We think our band has done a very fine iob this year. Our new director, Mr. Richard Wenzel, has been an inspira- 'tion to all of us. We played for all of the home football games and marched in the Santa Claus parade. We helped to present something new this year, a combined choir and band Lenten concert. We also put on our usual spring concert. This year the band went to two other schools and enter- tained the students with exchange assemblies. We participated in the district festival, as well as the Grand Valley Band Festival. We've had a busy year and have had fun, too.
