Mr Clinton Lrndhout is seen here instruct- ing his students in physics They learn to realize lust how Important science of this kind is in daily lite The class is interesting, and IS taken mostly by senior students. Aside from gaining knowledge in physics, the more basic fundamentals of how to study a course of this type are learned. Mr. Lawrence Bayer has several biology classes. There are many things to be learned and the students have found observing the wonders of biology quite interesting. They have been taught a variety of different fields ranging from plants to the human body. Learning and Success Mr. William Greig has a variety of things that he teaches his eighth grade science students. In this class they get a broad view of the science field which better prepares him for the high school sciences. dw Mrs. Anna Warner has several classes of seventh grade communication skills. There are so many dilterent things to be taught that it makes it quite interesting for her students. It is very important that they be- come well prepared for future years in high school.

l Leo Eby has been seen in this room for 'Smarty years. His main ambition is to get his Junior High students interested in mathe- matics. He not only teaches the principle of numbers but also keeps the pupils inter- ested with news of the day and facts that he has found to be worthwhile. Mr. Stanley McBride is helping students in his eighth hour advanced algebra class. This is quite traditional because the course has proved to be a little difficult at times. Mr. McBride's method of teaching has taught his many students the understanding of higher mathematics. Guidance 1- Interest Mr. Tom Baer has taught his geometry students the fundamentals of this course. His subiect has been of great value to many students who have learned good iudgment and sensible reasoning. Along with drawing constructions they must memorize the many theorems that are presented throughout the book. Mr. Jim DeRyke can be found in this room several times throughout the day. Here he is teaching his students the ideas behind mechanical drawing. They have learned haw to use the many instruments required for this course and have also learned how to put an idea down on paper.

Miss Jean Davidson in her communication skills class. In this class the students at an early age learn the fundamentals of the English language. It is that which we learn when we are young that we will retain and continue to use when we are older. Mrs. Mary Ann Holmes has a variety of proiects for her tenth grade English classes. Although there are new literature books they still contain the traditional readings, such as Julius Caesar and Silas Marner. lt is also in this class that tenth graders write their autobiographies. Mrs. Dortha Haight is in her communica tion skills class. Here her students learn history, geography, and English. The stu dents in this class receive a good firm foundation for their high school classes
