Donna Griem, Bart Munson, ' Bob Andrews, and Sandy Ballard look on sympathetically as Mary Lindskold tries Sonia Edgren to apply artificial respiration to her dying turtle. QQ H ' Room for Une More Staged by Juniors Sandy liallard tries hard to learn to swim as her instructor, Ronnie Husmann. wattlies with little tonfidenfe in his teaching ability. A father and a mother who had the under- standing and good sense necessary to help several homeless teenagers find happiness and meaning in their lives are the characters around which Williatm Davidson built his heart-warming play, Room for One More. which was presented by the junior Class un- der the direction of Miss Adeline Hoegberg on the evenings of january 29 and 50. The opening of the play finds the Rose family with four teenagers already under their wing, and a fifth one jimmy john fBobby Andrewsl, who was raised in the slums and is crippled by the after effects of polio, soon to arrive. Mother Rose CDonna Grieml is forced to carry the burden of raising the five children alone after the death of Poppy CBart Munsoni. The family is brought closer together as jimmy john realizes he is needed. and Janey CSandra Ballardl, a timid defensive girl, overcomes her great fear of water by rescuing a drowning woman fSonja Edgrenl. The audience was given an inside view and understanding of family life as well as being entertained by the fine acting of the juniors.

Dolphin Club Navigates Seaweed Saga Climaxing this years Dolphin Show, the members of the cast with candles in hand form a pitturesque scene as the large D emblem again takes its place afloat in the middle of the pool, I crown you Queen Nancy, Queen of the 1954 Dolphin Show. With these words, Don johnson, Dolphin Club president ollicially crowned Nancy Allison after she and her attendants were escorted by Dolphin Club ofhcers to the place of honor. Shipwrecked on a desert island, Master of Cere- monies Eddie Shank related the incident to the March 31 and April l and 3 audiences, and then went on to describe his numerous travels, inter- spersed with appropriate water and land acts. Variety was the keynote, and acts ranged from water ballets by the girls of the Dorado Club to clown diving, which provided a wavy climax for the exhibition diving.
