Weekly Assemblies Spiced b Variety lf it were possible for one to hang from the ceiling of East's auditorium, every Tuesday and Wednesday morning he would see mobs of Eastites scrambling for their assembly seats. From these assigned spots a wide variety of entertainment was witnessed by Rabs whose versatile likes were well satisfied by the diverse presentations of the talented and well-in- formed individuals who put on the galaxy of per- formances. Featured in the assemblies were letter winners, play teasers, the A Cappella Choir, talent show win- ners and other local talent, outstanding speakers, and a wide variety of professional entertainment.
