Roll Out the Keggers 1. Miller Time! 2. The active participants in the tug-of-war. 3. The weekend's main attraction. 4. The winning tug-of-war team: Front Row: Cheryl Sipes, Heather Paulsen, Joan Mosher, M'eIlen Huckstep, and Kathy Best. Back Row: Jeff Mosher, Frank Horvat, and two guests. Every year near the end of April, former and present students come together to bathe in the sun and have a good time. April Badness 1981 was no exception. During the day, large quantities of food and beer were consumed, and a band performed. Students played games and participated in the Miller Lite Tug-o-War. The day was topped off by a performance by Big Twist and the Mellow Fellows, a rousing end to a terrific day. ll in..:..,i--+- FU

A Weekend ith om t 'il The traditional lVlom's Day was held A the first weekend in March. Mothers were greeted by students l i 'E in Lower Burpee Lobby on Saturday morning and presented with corsages. After lunch, a reception i was held in the formal lounge in IVlcGaw, where mothers had the i chance to meet faculty. Moms and 2 their sons and daughters then ate a buffet supper in Regents Hall. The Theatre Arts Department presented She Stoops to Conquer in Maddox Theatre, after which the moms watched a student talent show in the Snack Bar. 26 Student Life 1. The afternoon reception in McGaw Hall. 2. Student entertainment featuring Joe Kvidera and Karen Andersen. 3. Saturday night's performance of She Stoops to Conquer.
