In the fall of 1958 the Cupola and Chanticleer merged to form a new yearbook. This move is an attempt to provide a more uni- fied and representative picture of Rockford College. Our College is in a state of transition, and this yearbook, Recensio, is an effort to meet the demands of the situation. Recensio, a Latin word mean- ing, ulooking back or uretro- spectf, was suggested by Dick McClure and approved by the student body.
