THE FACULTY The faculty constitute the skilled workers who design the architecture of the building, thus making it a working whole. They spend hours as apprentices to their profession before they can be called skilled workers. Their devotion to their work has enabled us to become the Finished product. It is said that the faculty make the school, and that is true here at Rockford College. Without them there could be no school. Sometimes it is a long and difficult process to turn out the finished product fthe seniorl. However, the faculty have the time, endurance, skill and patience to take this undeveloped material and produce, out of it, a finished product. ln the raw material there are 'defects which must be altered and-or corrected before it is even possible to create a whole. There is another vital responsibility of the skilled workers toward the student, that is to de- velop them into more alert and mature people who can be sent into the world with a true sense of awareness. As the other skilled workers and finished products before us, we are indebted to our skilled faculty, who have made it possible for us to recognize the need to become such individuals.
