DRAMATIC CLUB The importance of Dramatic Club makes membership in this organization a part of the activities of the all-around Rockford College girl. In addition to providing entertainment, it develops the art of drama and gives opportunity to practice cooperation; it offers training in acting, directing, staging, lighting, costuming, make- up, managing and criticism. FORUM Debating, discussion, and all forms of public speaking are car- ried on under the direction of the Forum. It aims to establish relations with other colleges through intercollegiate debate, and to foster interest in this phase of college life. A debate with a team from the University of Sydney, Australia, on the question, Resolved, that this house disapproves of nationalism, debates with Carletori College, Oberljn College, and Grinnell College, talks before various organizations in town, and a series of after-dinner discussions con- stituted the 1928-29 forensic year.
