Indeed, to produce this annual has required not only our talent but our effort, cooperation, and seriousness of attitude. It is with pride, then, that we present the Gems as the story of our high school ac- tivity. Very seldom do we find thirty-five years of service given to one position by one man, but Rockcreek School is proud to have such a man within its halls for that length of time. He has previously served as Principal at Liberty, Os- sian, and Lancaster and was County Superintendent from August to December of 1961. J. Due to the formation of Northern Wells, Mr. Espich could no longer hold the position on the school board. During his connection with the school board, his re- lations with the teachers, pupils, and patrons have been those of cooperation and understanding. DOYLE ESPICH These people in our school fill an important function in the efficient operation of tasks to be done. Very often this means giving of extra time to fulfill their jobs.
