Text from Pages 1 - 44 of the 1936 volume:

THE SAGEBRUSHER 1936 CIALTO Rock Springs. Wyoming Presentinsi the New Art in Entertainment Western Electric Sound System Uitaphone Movietone With this new invention we are now able to present the outstanding stars of the screen, and the foremost stars of the Operatic, Dramatic and Musical Comedy Stages A Symbol of Safety First Security Bank of Rock Springs, Wyoming Throughout the years the above symbol has stood for trust and security and shall continue to remain so, :: A member of the Federal Deposit Insurance Fund and its depositors are entitled to the Benefits of Deposit Insurance thus created The Stadium A fter forty years of continuous service to the boys and girls of Rock Springs, the old rock building, its period of usefulness over, finds itself again ministering to the needs of humanity in the form of this stadium. Most of the material for this structure came from the old building. Even the name plate, a large rock bearing the inscription, “Public School 1891,” will be found in the back wall. The old corner stone now con¬ tains not only the records placed there in 1891, but also the contributions of many of the men who helped construct the stadium. Thus did the “Rock Building” live and grow and fall into decay only to spring into life again in another form, even as you and I.
