Not more than fifteen per cent of the graduating class may he elected, and these must be chosen from the students ranking in the upper twenty-t'ive per cent of the class in scholarship. Election is made by a faculty committee, and pins are awarded on which are symbolized the qualities for which the society stands. To encourage scholarship. 0111' chapter awards, each year. a pin to the girl and to the boy having the highest grades in the freshman class. Board of Control The Board of Control is composed of the officers and spon- sor 0f the Student Association. and the ehairmen 0f the various councils. The purpose of the association is to develop co-opei'a- tion among the students in all lines of activity. with the main purpose of bettering our school. With faculty guidance, many svhuol affairs are turned over to this group to handle. This year class presidents were invited to attend the meetings of the home room representatives.
