Also, we realize more fully that graduation is not our chief goal. Our footprints must find us a little farther today than yesterday in our preparation to give more to life. The important thing is nothow much we have achieved, but how hard we have tried. We want to remember our days at Rock Springs. How best shall we remember and be remembered? The more we give to our studies, our activities, and our social life, the more we enjoy the blessedness of receiving and re- membering. As you travel with the Seniors through The Ros phian of 1962, you may recall some rugged traveling and a few steep hills. But, we hope you will be able to recall much enjoyment and many blessings. May we, the Seniors, leave behind footprints which will give you joy, encouragement, and courage to be up and doing. May this the fourteenth volume of The Rosphian recall for you a year well worth remembering. DEDICATED TO The Senior Class of 1962 dedicates The Rosphian to Mr. Ralph L. Sparrow, an outstanding teacher of Mathematics and Science at Rock Springs High School. We recognize him for his loyalty and devotion to the interest of his subjects, and to all whose lives he has touched. May he be blessed with continued health and strength to carry on his work in the classroom now and in many future years, IN APPRECIATION Mrs. Brown, Mrs. Hovis, and Mrs. Killianhave given much of their lifetime in service to ed- ucation in the public school class- room. There will be many who will remember their teaching and influence. As each takes leave of her present post at Rock Springs School because of retirement, may she look forward to many more years of contribution to our school in various ways. Mrs. Maud G. Mrs. Janie B.
