However, we are most interested in helping you to keep a fresher and more vivid memory of the people that make up the school. We take great pleasure in presenting the Rosphian of 1956. MR. CHARLES N. CLARK To a stern and sturdy leader though softly doth he chide A companion of the students and teachers Friendly Unselfish Understanding A man A friend A guide Many problems have taken place in our lives since, we, the seniors entered school twelve yearsago. Throughthe sufficient guid- ance of our principals and teachers, we have been able to overcome the many difficulties. They not only have shared our problems, but have shared our many happy moments. We want to thank the principals and teachers for their patience and kind understanding. Apninstratior SCHOOL BOARD Mr. Henry C. Barkley, Chairman Mr. North W. As the years goby, more subjects are studied. Eventually, he reaches high school where one begins to get a deeper meaning of education. In the twelfth year of school, he looks back- ward to the first grade pupils who will travel the same roadashe. He hopes they will attain the senior year with more knowledge and in- spiration. So he launches out into post-grad- uation. CLASS SONG (To the tune of Sweet Afton) We part from thee, Rock Springs! the school of our youth, We part from our classmates and teachers we love; They quickened our faith and our love for the truth, And always we'll remember our school so fine. We shall ever admire you as this moment we do, These twelve years of school have been well worth our time; As we leave you this year, we will all be so blue, And to our dear old Rock Springs we'll ever be true. When worries and cares that the future may hold, Bring sorrows of age and regret to our brow, We'll come back in remembrance to dear old Rock Springs; So good-bye to you all, we’re leaving you now. --Jane Reep CLASS MOTTO “Not finished, just begun.’’ CLASS COLORS CLASS FLOWER Blue and White Chrysanthemum MASCOTS Deborah Jean Carter Gary Wayne Holbrooks JEAN ABERNATHY MARCENE ABERNETHY LARRY BALLARD JOANNE BARBER JERRY BARKLEY FREDDIE DELLINGER JERRY DELLINGER R.
