CLASS SONG (Tune of ''My Happiness'') Leaving Rock Springs makes us blue, All the work we've had is thru, How we'll always think of you, Our high school pals! Many hours to each one, Nothing but continuous fun, And we're thankful for them all, Our high school days! Our parents have been swell, Our teachers taught us so well, And through their guidance clear, We stand ready to face a new year. Whether skies be gray or blue, Tho' successes still be few, In years to come we'll think of you Dear ole' Rock Springs! Linda Primm whe Why, CLASS FLOWER Carnation CLASS MOTTO By courage and faith, we succeed CLASS COLORS Red and White my) SS [nl I), 1 4 We. CLASS POEM Dear principal, teachers, and parents, You've helped us in every need, And by your help, we can truly say, By courage and faith, we succeed, These last four years have been happy ones, We're ready to start life anew. We've had our heartaches and trouvles, But we've succeeded and now we are through, The future is beckoning us onward, We must travel life's great highways. But we'll never forget Rock Springs High, Or those many treasured ''school days, We can't possibly tell each teacher, How much we appreciate The many things they have done for us, To help each become a graduate, And now may God be with us, As we struggle to succeed. The class of '55 joins in to say, You'll be proud of us, dear school, indeed, Now we will go our separate ways, Our school days have all gone by. But none of us ever will forget, The fond memories of dear Rock Springs High. Verlene Ballard
