Class islorlq When we, the graduating class of 1951, entered high school, we numbered one hundred strong, promising to become one of the largest classes in the history of Rock Ridge School. Now that we are at the end of our journey we regret that only forty six of us have made the goal. Our Freshman year was spent in getting adjusted to the large school, learning our rooms, making friends with the teachers and students. With our Sophomore year came the realization that the pathways of learn- ing were not always easy. We learned the art of real study and the need for an education. Many honors came to our class during our Junior year. Several became Beta Club Members. Eight marshals, including the chief marshal, were chosen for their high scholastic records. Then came our football team with their two year County Championship. Our Senior year has been crowded with hard work along with much fun. With the exception of earning our diploma, perhaps our greatest work has begn the editing of our yearbook, THE PEBBLE, as well as the financing of it. Many hours of work were put into this project. Through this we have learned the real joy of working together. Today we leave you with a pledge of loyalty, friendship, love and honor, to Rock Ridge School, our Alma Mater.
