In Memory . . . Panicia Jean McMullen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Rex McMullen, died in a car accident November 5, 1974. Pat, who was born November 11, 1957, was originally from Shenandoah, Iowa and came to Rock Port when she was a 5th grader. She was a member of the class of '76, Pat was an active person in FHA fFuture Homemakers of Americaj and Pep Club. As a fine Christian, she was a member of the United Methodist Church and participated in United Metho- dist Youth Fellowship. Gary Lee Cook, son of Mr. and Mrs. James D. Cook, was taken in a hunting accident June 8, 1974. I-Ie began his life March 9, 1958 in Atchison County and continued after birth as a good citizen of the com- munity. Gary, as a member ofthe class of '76 of Rock Port High School, participated in Future Far- mers of America. Gary Cook -,S Wwuww., Pat McMuII en In looking back over the loss of these two classmates the grief is expressed in this poem. I'll never be able to say it right, that you have gone to stay. All I know that I can say, Is that you have gone away. I don't know what I'll do now, since you have gone away. It seems that all the things we 've done, will linger to me in many ways. You were such a nice person, and a good going one too. But most of all that I can say is, I had a real good friend, --which was y There is one thing I'll never know, and ifI can say it right.
