Language Arts And Drama Among the new faces at Rock Port this year was the Jun- ior-Senior Language Arts, Speech and Drama teacher Miss Rebecca Jones. She even gave her students a thrill at Christmas by returning from vacation with a new name, Mrs. Christy. Her students learned things like Sherw0od's and Kevin's pantomime, various facts about Edgar Allen Poe, and Speech and drama class participat- ed in speech contest in Maryville. Mrs. Barbara Marquart was a more familiar face. Administration The administration at Rock Port had a busy year. A- long with the usual winter difficulties, things like snowdays, the administration had such things as call- ing off school because of the fuel shortage and flu plague to worry about.
