if Mrs. Ann Greiner, B.S., N.W.M. S.C. FOREIGN LANGUAGES The sixth hour Spanish class was a challenge for Mrs. Grein- er's patience. This year Rock Port offered both Spanish and French since foreign languages are becoming more important for entrance to college. Mrs. Greiner taught French I and II and first-year Spanish. This house, one of Mrs. Greiner's many projects, was made by her students.

Mr. Dennis Gates. BS NWMSC, Maryville, Mo. The Bookkeeping I classes took advantage of the overhead pro- jectors. Y Ji li xiii vi fri e i , V ': ' ii 3 Maw' Y -' ' xi, as COMMERCE The commerce department was han dled by Mrs. Phyllis Fay and Mr. Den- nis Gates. Mrs. Fay taught Bookkeep- ing I and II, shorthand, and publicat- ions. Mr. Gates instructed all typing classes, Clerical Office Practice I and II, and Basic Business. The Basic Bus- iness classes studied buying and selling stocks and the bookkeeping classes worked on practice income tax forms. Much practical experience was gained. Mrs. Phyllis Fay. AB Tarkio Col lege, Tarkio, Mo. Mr. Gates always made sure every- one understood the assignment. Students in Clerical Otfice prac- tice prepared for the regular routine of the life of a steno- grapher. The Bookkeeping II classes spent many hours Working on their practice sets.

The gang with their new car. I think I hurt myself .
