Pebbles Shine In A Super Season The 1976 sophomore football team finished with an outstanding 8-1 record. Winning the Big Six Con¬ ference and finishing sec¬ ond in the tough, Quad- City Metro Conference proved that this year ' s Pebbles were a superior squad. Holding their op¬ ponents to less than four points per game and av¬ eraging over thirty points themselves indicated the overall soundness of the team. With only thirty- five members on the squad, the Little Rocks used the winning combi¬ nation of hard work, de¬ termination, and courage to achieve their success.
