Rock It Power In ' 76 Homecoming week pro¬ gressed with the Moon Landing Pyramid Contest during the noon hour on Tuesday, October 5. Each team consisted of fifteen members who tried to build a human pyramid within three minutes. After school, the Venus Tug-o-War took place over a mudhole in the Rocky practice field. A mixed team of jun¬ iors and seniors were de¬ clared the winners. Wednesday, October 8 brought the Mars Stuffing Contest during the noon hour. The objective of this contest was to see who could stuff the most marshmellows into their mouths, without chewing, in thirty seconds. Tim Carr wonders if the refresh¬ ments are as tasty as cafeteria food. The stadium wall provides a good place to sort out thoughts for Rocky students. 10 Homecoming

Beth Tony, Martians And Fun What are these things? Could they be martians? Of course , states Beth Heming, Kathi Rudd, Lisa Kenney, Jim Sacco, Belinda Law- horn, and Kim Hoover. Julie Goodwin looks back on a brilliant Homecoming. Homecoming Day, October 8 started with the Homecoming Assembly at 10:00. A special product¬ ion of The Great American Then was presented by Pepsi and KSTT. The Homecoming Roy¬ alty was presented, with Queen Beth Wright and King Tony Scott presiding over the concert by the Navy Country Band and the presentation of the prizes for the various contests.
