For those students who stayed at school for lunch, the cafeteria sold pastries at the milk counter, making a long line and wait for those who were hungry. This year held many firsts for students of the “Rock”. Along with self-schedul¬ ing came a new attendance precedure. The absences resulting in lost credit was designed to keep the conscientious stu¬ dents in the class room. Early graduation for seniors was also initiated. Seniors with enough class credits allowed to graduate at the end of the first semester. This was the year of the forty-five min¬ ute open-campus lunch program. Mr. Schultz casts a shakey smile before Scott Mc¬ Ginnis takes off on a cruise. Brad DePew Works diligently adding finishing touches to his sculpture in art class.
