The Northwest Missouri State University Tower Choir entertained students at the homecoming assembly, with light arrangements of modern tunes. Homecoming 1974 was the one time when school spirit and school excitment reached the point of making the third week of October an extra memorable one for teachers and students alike. The “Newly-organized Senate sponsored such activities as a volkswagon race across the football practice field, a ba¬ nana eating contest, a tug-of-war, a car bash, and showings of “Fabulous Fun¬ nies.” Students try to demolish the car at the Car Bash. Bill Osmundson drove royalty Tammy Davis. Tim Hegg. and Roxanne Foley in the parade. Varsity football Tri-Captains present to the student body The Tomahawk” which is ours for one year as our award for winning the Rock Island-Molme game. J Homecoming 19
