Pan Am Stresses Culture The Spanish culture and language were of in¬ terest to a great number of Rocky students. Pan- Am channeled this interest into learning experi¬ ences and enjoyment. Early in the year, mem¬ bers had dinner at Tortilla Flats. A taco party at Su Casa, and an international dinner with French and German club members were held also during the year. A trip to the Davenport Art Institute and museum, plus participation in a Spanish mass, enriched and enlarged the mem¬ bers’ knowledge of Spanish culture. Activities such as these gave Pan-Am members a better understanding of the cultures of some of our neighboring lands. 1. Pan Am league officers are Chris Brandt, Linda Donlin, Sheri Bladel, Laurie Sweet. 2. “Ole!” say Pan Am members.
