Senate Reorganizes As the concern for students’ individual rights grew, Rocky’s Senate grew along with it. The senators this year were involved with many pro¬ jects to help the students. Committees were set up so that the projects received more individual attention. Senators, under the presidency of Joel Sax, were involved with the Grievance Booth, Homecoming, Assemblies, and dances. This year too, the senate took over role usually assigned to class officers. The Junior Senior Prom, a sopho¬ more mixer and graduation were all senate pro¬ jects this year. With the help of the new admin¬ istration, Rocky’s senate was beginning to get something done for the school and its students. 24 Senate
