Top Ten Reach Scholastic Brilliance Involvement with studies and extra curricular activities is enough to bog down some stu¬ dents. This year, however, ten students combines studies and activities and still kept up their grades. These students, led by valedictorian Craig Cox and co- salutatorians MariAnn Graham and Jon Jones, followed difficult schedules during their school years, some with as many as three x weighted classes. Mac¬ beth, Moby Dick and The Stranger posed literary chal¬ lenges, while theorems, prob¬ lems and Mr. Ryner posed mathematical ones. Chemistry and Physics focused on the sci¬ entific viewpoint; conjugated verbs and translations on the lingual outlook. Far from being bookworms and grinds, these students were involved in many other activi¬ ties as well. Band, concerts, plays and music played a part in the lives of some. Others were busy with clubs and their yearly activities. It was participation in these activities and also in class that made the lives of Rocky’s top ten students very full and busy. [ k 1.
