4 Exchange Students Meet Rocky Daniel Raviolo of Argentina, Martine Parot of France, and Rainer Kopp and Jochen Kruse, both of Germany are the foreign exchange students. No credit is received for their year’s stay so the stu¬ dents must finish from one to three years of all required subjects upon their return home. Martine likes people-psychology, character thru lit, drama and religion. Martine belives “Religion is basically what people are about.” Rainer likes sports, especially judo in which he has a yellow belt. Daniel, confirms his pre- reality impressions. Jochen, Daniel and Rainer have inter¬ ests in politics. Jochen feels students should be educated to criticism and criti¬ cal thinking but thinks the system is afraid of the same. “I ' m glad to attend Senate and QCSC meetings to see de¬ mocracy at work” stated Jochen. Contrasting opinions, tasted and memories form a new perspective for foreign exchange students. TOP: Rainer Kopp, our German student, comes to us from “Youth for Understanding”.
