POST GAME DANCES provide fun and exercise for the student body on Friday nights in the girls gym. Homecoming-CYC Dances Make the Scene Rock Island offers the student body many after school and week-end activities, the most popular being post-game, formal and semi-formal dances throughout the school year. Various clubs and organizations alter¬ nately sponsor dances after football and basketball games. At 8:30 on Friday nights the girls gym echos laughter and music as students relax. Semi-formals such as Homecoming, Sno Bol, and the Sportsmanship dance give stu¬ dents a chance to “dress-up”. At the Sweet¬ heart Swirl, the tables are turned as girls ask boys. Prom, the biggest event of the high school year, rounds out the dances at Rocky. AT HOMECOMING, STUDENTS make arrangements with the camera club to have their memories saved in pictures.
