Just as all war plants have a representative clearance board, composed of employers and employees who settle pro- duction problems, so Rock Is- land High School has its stu- dent governing boardg namely, the Senate. Student problems are brought to the Senate meetings, where they are first discussed and then acted upon. One of the outstanding fea- tures of Senate activities is the sponsoring of Old-Clothes Day.
