The commercial department of our high school offers business training in accounting, shorthand, typing, and office training. Although personal courses are offered, many students major in stenography and accounting in order to be prepared for positions in offices and stores after graduation. ' 144,51 The speech department offers three years of Work in the study of acting, history of the theater, interpretation and practical speaking. No less practical is the study of home economics and art.
