EE EEE E 3. 1 , E EEE - 11. iiliiililmlf N1R. Haxsox In Earl H. Hanson, we have a familiar friend at the head of our school system. Though we miss his pleasant smile in our halls, we are proud to have our former principal occupying the position of Superintendent of Rock Island Public Schools. MR. WRIGHT In lNlr. Wright, our principal, We've made a new friend and one whom we feel is capable of guiding the student body along right channels. We're glad We've made this new friend and hope that the rest of his administratitve years will be as success- ful as his first. Miss FIRST In spite of the shifting that took place this last year Miss First maintained her former position as assistant principal. This year she continued her work in her usual competent manner.

To these men we owe a great debt of gratitude and we take this opportunity to repay them in a very small measure by dedicating OUT VVATCl4lH'TCWYER to tl1CIT1. This honor is only fitting, since the beauty oftour book would have been greatly impaired had we not been able to feature our new Rock Island Senior High School in photographic studies. It was entirely through their efforts that our lives have been enriched by finer facilities and a fuller curriculum. To you, Mr. Plantz, Mr. Bauer, Mr. Denecke, Mr. Murphy, and Mr. Youngquist, We want to say Uthank you, and hearty congratu- lations on your excellent piece of Workfl N LLL ILLILJLLL :LLL LILIL L-l: - LLL LLL I-I-I-I-L Luau 1 4 LLL - ILLVY 'f I- L :za I.l..l.l.L.
