A HILARIOUS STYLE SHOW IN WHICH LOCAL MISTERS WERE GARBED AS FEM WAS SPONSORED BY MR. SCHULTZ. T«E JOINTLY BESTOWED UPON MR. GENE Clay Dickerson, the co-winners, was a ARTISTICALLY WRAPPED 30X OF DELICIOUS WHITE-SKINNEO ONIONS. SEVERAL OF THE NINE BEAUTIES GENEROUS PRIZE Kotrla ANO Mr. BEAUTIFUL, PINK ANO JUNIOR-SENIOR BANQUET The annual Junior-Senior Banquet of the Rock Islano High School was helo in Hawaiian style THIS YEAR AT THE HIGH SCHOOL BUILDING ON THE night of March twenty-thiro. As THE GUESTS ARRIVE0, THEY WERE USHERED INTO the Candlelight Cafe , where tables for two were PL A CEO BETWEEN HUGE PALM TREES ALONO TWO SIDES OF THE ROOM. A OOLOEN TROPICAL MOON ROSE ABOVE THE PALMS AT THE BACK OF THE ROOM. At SEVEN-THIRTY, THE BANQUET BEGAN WITH THE INVOCATION, WHICH WAS given by Mr. Miller, the Superintendent. Next came the Hawaiian Welcome by Ruth Miller, the president of the Junior class. The toasts followed. Most important, of course, was dinner. Soft Hawaiian melodies drifted through the cafe OURING THE MEAL ANO THE CEREMONY OF THE LEI. Aloha , the Hawaiian farewell song, closed the FORMAL ACTIVITIES AFTER SOME REMARKS BY MR. Miller ano Mr. Schultz.
