THERE WAS AL80 THE 00 UN TRY STORE RUN BY SEVERAL OF THE LOOAL MEN, HUMOROUSLY GARBED, ANO THE SANDWICHES, WHI OH WERE FILLED WITH CHICKEN SALAD, 8EEF, PIMENTO CHEESE, AND tuna fish. Coffee was provioeo for the ones who didn’t CARE FOR THE COLD ORINKS. At nine o'clook, the time for the ooronation FINALLY CAME. ThE THRONE WAS VERY BEAUTIFUL. WHITE DRAPES WITH SCATTERED FALL LEAVES OF DIFFERENT KINDS ANO COLORS FORMED THF BACKGROUND. THE CHAIRS TOO, WERE DRAPED IN WHITE. At LAST, AFTER ALL THE SUSPENSE, THE WINNERS FOR QUEEN WERE ANNOUNCED. EUNICE TRAPP, THE OLOER QUEEN, OHOSE EaRL WAITS AS HER ESCORT; Jo Ann Moss, was grammar shcool queen ano her king was Alfreo Lane Besoh. Eunice was oresseo IN A DUSTY ROSE POPLIN EVENING DRESS. ThE BODICE WAS BASQUE STYLEO WITH SOFT SHlRRlNC AT THE WAIST. IT HAO A SWEETHEART NEOKLINE, TIE 8ACK BELT, PUFF SLEEVES, AND WIOE TIERED SKIRT. HER BEAUTIFUL BOUQUET WAS MADE OF ASTERS. SCHOOL ENTERTAINMENT RAISES LIBRARY FUNDS On Friday night, December 5» 1947 the Rook Islano High School stuoents presented three one- AOT PLAYS ANO “THE FAMILY ALBUM , A HUGE MOOK PHOTOGRAPH A L8UM OF PIOTURES REPRESENTING THE GOOO OLE DAYS1 , FOR THE purpose OF BUYING MAGA-ZINES AND NEWSPAPERS FOR THE SCHOOL LIBRARY. THE PHOTOORAPHS OF SEVERAL GENERATIONS OF THE O'HAN-NAGAN FAMILY THAT ORIGINATED IN BELFAST, IRELANO, REPRESENTED THE PERIOO BETWEEN 1840-1947. THE FIRST WAS IN THE TIME OF GREAT GREAT GRANOPAPA WHO CAME TO AMERICA ANO SETTLED IN KENTUCKY, WHERE HE MET AND MARRIED GREAT GREAT GRANDMAMMA--THE LAST PICTURE WAS OF LlNOA, THE MOOERN O'HAN- NACAN MISS. The high school pupils, dressed in APPROPRIATE COSTUMES, PORTRAYS 0 THE DIFFERENT PHOTOS.
